Announcing the Birth of Matthew Marshall
In the wee hours of this morning Matthew came into the world weighing 9 lbs 2 oz and measuring 21 inches.
After a long and strenuous labor that started at 9:00 the night before, Matthew was delivered by cesarean around 1:15 (correction: 1:01 AM) Thursday morning. Bonnie was in active labor working like a feign to deliver the baby without any medication for most more than 18 hours. After deciding to get a little pain relief Bonnie continued to work to deliver Matthew for another 7 hours before being advised that by her wonderful doctor that she needed to have Matthew removed surgically for the health of the baby. Bonnie was absolutely amazing during labor and couldn’t have done a better job!
Both Matthew and Bonnie are resting at New York Downtown and are doing great!
We have been blessed by God and are rejoicing at the gift of life!

Wow Bonnie - what a trooper you are! Congratulations on the birth of your healthy, beautiful baby boy. Can't wait to get him together with Charlie for a play date. Enjoy these amazing first few weeks! Best Wishes, Jen Boscia and Charlie!
