Matthew Visits Kentucky!

Matthew made his first of many trips to Russellville, Kentucky, where Mommy grew up and where Mommy & Daddy met in high school.
Matthew smiled like never before for Nonna, with her crazy faces!
Matthew met Uncle Hef at the airport. Later, after Uncle Hef carefully drove him to Russellville, they played a while at Nonna & Pop's house.
Matthew was very active as he reunited with Pops!
Matthew enjoyed Katie's experienced baby-holding. Actually, he fell in love. Matthew stared at Katie the entire hour-long drive back to Nashville! 

Matthew Visits Nashville!!

Matthew met his Uncle Zac in Nashville (with Grandma always nearby).
Four generations gathered in Woodbury: Great Aunt Diane, Grandma Carol, Daddy, Matthew, and Memaw Judy.
Grandpa and Grandma celebrated some happy news with Matthew in Woodbury.
Matthew took his first flight at age 5 1/2 weeks! He made sure that his carry on bag did not have any liquids or gels and quickly passed through New York security, garnering numerous smiles. 

Matthew learns about Africa

Matthew and Bonnie have so much fun during the day. Check out the sling that Sonia made for us! Better yet, check out the wide eyes and happy Toto (Bonnie is trying to instill a love of 80's music in the little man at a young age).

Saturday in the Park

Matthew attended his first social engagement today...a birthday party in Prospect Park. Matthew enjoyed looking at the sky and trees without the impediment of the windows he faces at home! He was quite charming and on his best behavior. Here, Josh holds Matthew and takes a picture at the same time!!! Go Daddy! 

Matthew meets Caroline

Caroline brought her mom & dad (Elizabeth & Stephen) over for dinner tonight.
She passed out after dinner, but Matthew was wide awake!
He knows that he can realx in the arm of our southern friends...
